9-11-2001
At 5:45 am I woke up to get ready for a long day at the Doctor's office. "Nothing to eat or drink"
you know type of stuff...
At 6:30 am I was out the door, so far an ordinary morning. Not much traffic, and a little cool, it had rained a little the night before with some thunder and I had very little sleep, so I was ready to sleep through the whole thing.
7:00 am I signed for my appointment at 7:30 am at the Doctor's office, the I sat down, the nurse turned on the TV and the first thing on the TV was the news of the attacks on the "Twin Towers", and in an instance the whole world changed...
7:30 am came and went and we were all glued to the TV listening in unbelief to what was happening in New York.
7:45 am More news, this time about the Pentagon attack, and flight Panam 93 crashing into an open field, by this time all flights were grounded and the President of the free world was flying around, because his security team would not let him come to Washington.
Ok, so we had no idea what was happening, but by this time I had decided I was going home to call my brother who worked a couple of blocks from the Towers."
8:10 am the Towers had fallen and I couldn't get a hold of my brother or my dad.
8:40 am I called frantically to NY over and over, but there was not answer, no one was home I though...the phone rang and rang, but then it sounded busy for hours.
10:00 am I was so scared for my family in NY, I called so many times, my dialing finger started to hurt. But I was not able to contact any of my relatives.
12:00 pm I had been glued to the TV all morning seeing horrifying pictures of all that was happening, and not one bit of news from my brother or my Dad.
Day turned into night for three days and nights, until finally I heard from my Dad and brother...they were all right, its just that they too had been in hell for three days and nights. God bless them, and all those who worked on ground zero after the attack.
That is my memory of 9-11-2001
What is yours?

Immigration by Executive Order
In an order named “Exercising Prosecutorial Discretion Consistent with the Civil Immigration Enforcement Priorities of the Agency for the Apprehension, Detention, and Removal of Aliens,”
The president sign a provision instructing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to exercise prosecutorial discretion when deciding to deport certain undocumented immigrants.
The memorandum’s purpose is to give guidance to immigration officials to:
“ensure that the agency’s immigration enforcement resources are focused on the agency’s enforcement priorities. The memorandum also serves to make clear which agency employees may exercise prosecutor discretion and what factors should be considered.”
The president’s decision has been criticized of enacting the "Dream Act" by executive fiat to garner votes in spite of Congress’s failure to pass the legislation. Apparently, critics of the president’s decision are not aware that the "Dream Act" would've completely devoid any measure of compassion for immigrants, instead this memorandum provides guidance for ICE officials to show compassion for immigrants who would qualify for the "Dream Act’s provisions" of which are 19, as if it were the law. Immigrants who attend school for three years, fight in our wars, and contribute by paying taxes to the government without receiving benefits should be shown compassion and be treated with dignity, because many of these were by no fault of their own raised illegally as "citizens of the United States" by their parents crossing them illegally when they were still children, attending schools, colleges, marrying and having children of their own, and not being able to go home because for all they know and understand THEY ARE HOME in the United States.
No green card, or social security number, but it allows for people to apply under more liniment immigration laws with out fear of being deported, as long as they have not committed any felonies under the law, other than remaining in the United States illegally. Well I for one can honestly say good luck!! and God bless, we want good citizens to work for honest wages.

10 Steps To A Good Sermon
10 Steps to a good sermon
1. Introduces
2. Communicates
3. Biblically accurate
4. Suspenseful
5. Humoristic
6. Addresses the needs
7. Constricts the soul
8. Invites
9. Liberates
10. Transforms in power
- A short instruction is best. Work hard to clarify and unify the presentation so that there will be no confusion about what they are trying to say. In most cases, good sermons offer one idea – an idea big enough yet simple enough for listeners to appreciate and apply to their lives.
- A good sermon helps people hear from God. Preachers work to connect people with the voice of God. If a listener does not sense that she or he has been in the presence of God and heard something meaningful from him, then the sermon could not have been that good.
- A good sermon is rooted in the Bible truth. A sermon ought to find its footing in the Word of God. Many fine things could be said by a preacher, but if the listener doesn’t feel that the sermon has been helpful in engaging the Bible, it falls short as a sermon. The Bible will govern the sermon and be the source of its big idea if the sermon is any good. Good preachers understand that God still speaks through his Word. The Bible is the one instrument that God has promised to bless. When it comes to good preaching, the Bible is where the power is.
- Suspense and Humor are an important part of a good sermon. Some listeners learn best through reflection; others prefer a more active, a personal approach, others still can understand best by adding small humoristic bits. Culture will affect one’s evaluation of a sermon, some people don’t like to much humor, while other like to relax in a presentation. Many more like suspenseful metaphors using questions such as where we come from, what generation we belong to, our denomination, our economic situation, answering the question is not necessary, the intention of the sermon should address all the ideas presented.
- A sermon that deals with the needs of the listener is successful. Skillfully and compassionately assisting the listener in dealing with the anguish of sin, and perhaps hidden painful memories pertaining to grief, life and death. Touching the soul and gaining the trust of the listener to open up to the words the idea.
f. The invitation must be extremely gentle. One must be highly intuitive and have the ability to detect the needs to help address those who are in need of contrition. Whether they are struggling with personal issues such as health, relationships, love, intimacy, physical pain, traumatic experiences, eating disorders, career issues, life purpose, self esteem or simply personal feelings of failure and inadequacy.
g. A sermon has the ability to bring a higher energy and consciousness of soul. Uniting mind, soul and spirit which will liberate personal issues. The listener must see themselves in the sermon. Experiencing life, and future completely in front of her eyes, this moment is powerful; the listener may cry or leave. This is called the “death syndrome”, it is like your entire life flashes in front of your eyes the second before you die. First of all, that one second isn’t a second at all. It stretches on forever, like an ocean of time realizing they need God.

Who is Amy Winehouse?
Amy Winehouse died today…who is she? Well, she was an English pop singer. Amy was born in the south area of north London to a Jewish family who were the source of her interest in jazz. Amy was the younger of two children. When Amy was nine years old, her grandmother suggested she attend a theatrical school for acting training. At age ten, she founded a short-lived rap group called “Sweet 'n' Sour’ with childhood friend. Amy, soon got her first guitar at 13 years old, she became a Frank Sinatra fan early on in her life because her Father often sang his songs to young Amy, who also took to a constant habit of singing to the point that teachers found it difficult keeping her quiet in class. At 14 she had her first run in with the law at her school and was expelled. Amy thought of herself as an artist, so she applied at another Theatrical school where she exceeded everyone in her musical rolls.
She was only 24 with six Grammy nods, crashing headfirst into success and despair. By 2008, her continued drug problems threatened her career. Amy Winehouse died today, no one by her side, no ambulance was called. When authorities arrived, she had already passed away.
Why am I talking about Amy? Well, she was a young woman, which was beautiful at one point with the gift of song, with friends and family. What went wrong? Some may ask, the answer is clear in our mind. I don’t really need to spell it out. We all go thru rough spots in our life, but drugs and alcohol are not the answer…it is a slow process to fall out of grace and into sin, and eventually into death. Don’t think it can’t happen to you, because it can happen to any of us.
It is truly a “slow fade”, small wrong choices make later for big mistakes. Make sure you make the right choice the first time, even if you don’t like it. Do what is right in God’s eyes and you will live. Poor Amy Winehouse she died…

Dominated by Islamic Law
Are you ready for a world dominated by Islamic law?
On July 9, the international political group Hizb ut-Tahrir will meet for the “UK Khilafah Conference” in London. During the gathering, meetings will focus upon ways in which a caliphate can be instituted. As The Blaze explained that the caliphate is an Islamic state that draws its authority from, and is based upon, Sharia law.
Hizb ut-Tahrir, which stands for the “Party of Liberation” in English, is an international political organization that seeks one, unified Muslim state that is dominated by Muslim law. This particular group stands firmly planted against the United States, accusing the Super Power of colonization, among other offenses.
There is no doubt that the organizers of the Ummah Khilafah are very serious about their plans to bring peace to the World via Islamic Law. Are you ready? Is Israel ready?
